I made this 100% from scratch. The wall was made in Photoshop, with renders of my 80's style roundel ('the round things' we call them now) 3D model added.It's typical - it's Good Friday, my girlfriend is at work, and I've got bags of time to do some artwork...and I've got artist's block. So that today wasn't a complete waste, I doodled this. Enjoy!

I was thinking about that but then I'd have to either decide whether I use the round or the angular columns, or make one for each style.

Hmm...liking the idea. I prefer the angular pillars as opposed to the round ones... so I'd probably do angular either side and a round one in the middle...

Yeah, they've always been around (bad pun, sorry) in one way or another, but in the 80's they were essentially access panels to circuitryΒ

I liked this bit of back and forth between Ten and Eleven, and it was very nice to see them again but a little confusing that they'd forgotten what the Roundels were (or at least what they became in the 80's).
I wouldn't be surprised if they make a come back (as Capaldi has stated he'd like that)

The Roundels were present, they just weren't used; although I haven't seen the 80's series
