What I like about this are the mixed emotions one feels when seeing it and how strongly this rather simple picture can make you feel. The cuteness of the little boy smiling at his balloon, yet the sadness of what the title conveys.

Fun idea. I would have made a series of these shots, maybe one where both the baloon and boy have sad expressions, one where they both laugh. Or maybe when they both contradict each other, kinda like this photo but with more examples.
Oh well. Other than that I find the photo interesting and those colours sure makes an impression!
