Profile
n a m e: n/a (n/a)
a l i a s: Yersinia Pestis
n i c k n a m e: Sinia. (s-ih-nee-ya)
s p e c i e s: Technically speaking, there is no name for her species. She is the only of her kind as the embodiment of disease. Anatomically, however, she is closest to the zombie or dullahan. She consists of a four-armed human-like figure that is separated at all joints aside from threads/cords. A perpetual state of rot plagues her existence, but her durability and fantastic pain threshhold enable a manageable, yet miserable, existence. She is internally structured by a pitiful mockery of a human skeleton supplanted with strong cording and a mild rigor mortis.
r a c e / e t h n i c i t y: n/a
a g e : She physically manifested in 1346, making her roughly 669, but she existed in a sort of unconscious, metaphysical limbo prior, making her much older.
g e n d e r: Female.
p h y s i c a l  a p p e a r a n c e: Sinia is an unimpressive 140 cm (4'7" feet'in") and a whopping 23 kg (51 lbs). With such a low weight, her BMI is 11.9, putting her well within standards to diagnose malnourishment. She is incredibly skeletal as a result. Her skin, which looks painfully taut straining against the razor sharp composition of her bones, is a deathly pale and sickly patchwork of blue veins, irritated pink and red, and green bruise-like formations. It is striped with heavy scarring, some which resulted from battles and conflict (these are stitched with a medical precision in a clear thread in a chain of "Z"s), and some which have been with her since the dawn of her existence (these are stitched in straight lines with a heavy, black, slightly elastic cord; these scars are located at all joints, natural waist, tops of thighs, neck, and a Y shape going from shoulders to pelvis on both her back and her front). Near the base of her spine is a small thimble-like instrument and box where cord can be fed. Her small, sharp face is dominated by two dark, lightless eyes that appear like wet black holes drilled intro her skull, which are encased by long, spidery lashes, primarily on the lower lashline. The sclera of her eyes are often red and irritated. Her bangs lies flat on her forehead in a perplexingly symmetric and precise manner; the rest is one length and hangs as if drenched from her, encasing her like a smoggy waterfall and pooling at her ankles. An oil spill is the closest comparison to the colors of her hair. Her anatomy is mainly human aside from the extra set of arms; beneath her natural shoulders are another pair of shoulders, from which two extra arms come. Consequently, she has two pairs of shoulderblades.
p e r s o n a l i t y: Sinia is very dedicated to any task she deems worthy of her time. She will not do anything except breathe until she finishes the task. It can be very handy if there is something that has a deadline, but in contrast it can also be inconvenient, because she has a tendency to do it subconciously; it makes her very reliable, but also handicaps her. She's very precise in the way she does things, with a sort of surgeon's grace. Everything must be perfect or it is unacceptable, and she will re-do it over and over again until she is happy with the result. It can be seen in her stitching - it's almost criminally immaculate. Her perfectionism causes her to have vicious breakdowns when something is less than perfect. Her moods seem to take to extremes as default. She's either morose, irrationally joyous, or in an unconsolable rage; there are no intermediates. She's naturally neurotic, which she takes out on whatever she pleases, whenever she pleases, even if she doesn't realize it. Her emotions will rule her once they get to a certain point and logic will be thrown to the wind - she will lash out without much of a thought. It makes her come off as unstable (which is true) and too busy to care for others, which is untrue. She is naturally a very caring person, albeit in selective ways. She remains apathetic to people, unless they are special - she has not had a "special" person yet. She cares for her animals and her plants. Like a doting mother, she will devote all of her time to them, try to cure them the best she can - and if it fails, she will kill them out of mercy. (Or just because she was bored. But don't tell anyone that!) Sinia is a very strong believer that in the midst of her creation, there was a fatal flaw in her genetic coding. The idea that this, her creation, was intended is madness. Though, her opinion is very biased by the fact that she hates herself most of the time, if not all. She is fatally envious; everyone else, to her, is perfect, with their limbs that stay attached, and non-rotting bodies, and normal smell. It makes her sick.
b a c k s t o r y:  ➷ What would later become Sinia in the rotting flesh had existed since the dawn of time in an unconcious, unfeeling limbo. Hers was a very time-consuming creation.  Then, finally, in the year of 1320, she was ready. The nameless embodiment of disease and decay.
➷ Upon her birth, She was initally full of life, ready to fulfill whatever purpose she was made for, ready to aid what- and whoever needed her. She was a precise and strong being that could turn anything's biology against itself, and she was emboldened by the brightness of the future she saw ahead of her. Then, she saw herself. Her world shattered into pieces. This was who she was? A rotting, walking corpse, held together by stitching? She was submerged in sorrows. When she was at her lowest, she looked for help. She asked, to a nonparticipant creator, why, why did you do this? Am I a mistake? Change me, remake me, make me someone better. Make me beautiful. She could not accept the fact that she was intended to be this way; it was too painful for her to think this was all she could be. She would not stand for it. She put her mind to work.
➷ Around the time of 1325, she put her plan into action. It started in the Gobi desert, among travelers. They accomplished their unknown role as carriers. Through all the trade routes, a disease that would earn her name, passed like waves in the sea. People started to die. People cried over their loved ones, mourned, and futilely prayed they would be safe. She was not done. It spread further through all the travel routes, and then conquered Asia. People died at faster rates than flies. People ran at the name of the mysterious killer. Black death. Bubonic plague. Yersinia persitis.
It continued to spread, gaining speed as she gained strength from her slaughters. People ran for safety, but only found more death as they hastened its spread. Like poisonous flowers, each carrier infected everyone, then wilted themselves All the known corners of the world became infected. Everything was dying; everything was going according to plan. She was angry, irrational, illogical, and unconsolable. She sent the disease out to the rats, who carried it even further. England. China. Africa. Populations dropped to dwindling, pitiful numbers.
➷ Yet, she was granted no reprieve. It didn't soothe the burning in her chest or quell the hunger inside of her, or wipe away angry, red-tinted tears. It did not numb the pain or quiet the hateful voices that rested in the spaces between her bones and screamed her inferiority. It was the first time she really saw what she had done. It made her want to crumble, shatter all her bones like a chain reaction and just cease to exist. She was destroying people. She was the black death. She was the bubonic plague. She was yersinia persitis. She was a monster. She immediately killed off as many sources for the disease as she could, tried to tell people the cure - but they would not listen. She was a monster, after all. Yersinia Persitis. Walking death.
➷ After many tiring years, people figured it out the cure on their own, and she destroyed all bacteria breeding-grounds. She could feel only a bitter combination of hatred and regret. Sinia would never forgive herself for the deaths of innocents - but she didn't need to. It had already happened. There was no way to undo it. In their honor, she would name herself Sinia, Yersinia persitis. Black death. Bubonic plague. Element of disease. She pledged to never again kill as many as she did those years, but with a tendency to obey every impulse as it comes and the power to decimate entire populations, people avoided her after that.
r e l a t i o n s h i p  s t a t u s: Fighting off the army of young, rich, ridiculously handsome suitors that fancy decomposing, perfectionistic bringers of death and disease. Single.

Other

➷ Sinia has a single pair of red scissors she uses solely for cutting her hair. Even if her hair need not be trimmed or cut, she does it anyway, on an every-other-day basis. Her hair is almost always perfectly cut, from practice; she used to do it much more often, however once she saw the effects it had on her mossy emerald mane, she prohibited herself from doing it more than once every other day. A nervous reaction of hers is idly messing with her hair, and if she's stressed, she seems to almost have a mild, temporary case of trychotillomania, pulling out strand after strand one at a time, often without realizing it.
➷ Sinia loves traveling, though being a destructive being most people despise, she does not do it often; when she does, she usually will don her cape and hood, which does a good job at hiding most of her stitching and her four arms. This allows her to parade as "One Of The Regulars" from a distance. She travels almost exclusively during dusk.
➷ Sinia runs a "hospital". It is basically a tree house atop one of the taller trees in the swampy wasteland, with a few red and white signs that proclaim "INFIRMATORY" and "EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE." The only way up is by climbing many branches. This is where she cares for all the random animals and plants she picks up. She often makes up her own remedies - which usually do not work - and ends up killing them out of mercy or when she gets bored.
➷ Ragged journals keep eachother company on one of her many crowded bookshelves within the "hospital", all filled with tales of impossibly beautiful dames, who have a seemingly limitless amount of friends, and live a perfect life, not to mention a perfect love life. The writing itself is lacking plot and substance, but saturated with glittering adjectives and an obsessive focus on describing physical things, such as appearance.
Likes rabbits; medical supplies; fashion; plants; stories; music; villages
Dislikes herself; her body; beautiful people; royalty; imperfections
Hopes to find love; to be beautiful; to be helpful/have purpose; to destroy everything.
Fears butterflies, which completely terrify her for an unknown reason; water, because she cannot swim and has more than once had to crawl from the bottom of a lake; lack of thread to stitch herself up or battle (she stockpiles); the afterlife, as she welcomes death but is paralyzed by the thought of anything but oblivion waiting for her on the other side.

More on species/abilities
➷ Sinia is parasitic. She draws her life force from others without having anything to give in return. Any living creature does the trick (people, animals, plants). It is both voluntary and involuntary, in that she requires it to live and it is instinctual, but she can hold it back or focus it, like holding your breath.
➷ Sinia's body parts are linked by a series of thick, slightly elastic and incredibly durable cord, which is all one piece and coils in her core. Extra is stored in a large spool-like contraption on her back. She can extend her body by creating space between her joints, provided she has enough cord. In theory, she could continue to extend forever, but she is limited by cordage.
➷ She is literally in a constant state of rot. She smells TERRIBLE. The worst thing you have ever smelled x3.
➷ At the ends of each fingertip, she has an X-shaped incision that is weakly stitched on the edges, with an opening in the middle. It looks like an irritated scar from constant reopening. During battle, a thin, hollow, pointed bone extends from here; it functions like a syringe needle.
➷ Existence is very painful for Sinia. She is constantly in pain and does not know an existence without it.
Weaknesses Water, she is extremely hydrophobic because water stings her festering wounds and she sinks like a rock; Sand or other unsteady terrain, because she walks as if she just bought her body and doesn't know how to use it; She is slow aside from bursts of adrenaline; Easily tricked or manipulated because she desires so intensely to be liked/loved/beautiful; isolation from all living things; emotionally unintelligent and impulsive
Strengths Dedicated; durable; impressive power; widely feared
Abilities Expansion with cording; durability; nearly immortal; creates and summons diseases at will; drains life force; affinity with animals/plants/creatures typically associated with death (cockroaches, scorpions, rats, crows, poisonous plants)
Limitations Amount of cord at hand; movement is slow and laborious save for battle-inspired surges of adrenaline; uncoordinated beyond belief in unsteady terrain; fears
➷ Sinia's tendencies in dueling are very unconventional. She's naturally very slow moving, physically, to contrast a constantly racing mind. With her poor defense, she makes an easy target; but her extremely high endurance makes it also very tedious. Her strategy is either completely on point, or ridiculously off, fifty-fifty chance either way. She has an impressive aim and a good measure of strength, so if she manages to concoct a decent strategy and connect a hit, it will be a hard one. When fighting, she will use everything to her advantage she possibly can. Weather/terrain are often used to conceal herself and strike devastating blows; she is an adept climber. She can channel infections and hallucinogenics through the needles in her fingertips. She attacks with open palmed attacks, swift pinpricks as deep and as many as she can get into her opponent. The first dose is usually a hallucinogenic that muddles the senses more as the opponent uses up more energy, therefore becoming more effective over time. The next dose can either be included in with the first, or on it's own. It is the vassal sickness for her parasitic tendencies, that latches onto the host for as long as the user can keep it up. It feeds off of the other, and can be resisted, though obviously gets more difficult to resist as the person tires. She is more likely to let her enemies slowly succumb to her vassal sickness than to take them out immediately, though if they pose a threat she will try to take them out fast. She can be careless in her steps and with the details of her plans, as she does not think of backup plans until the last second. Close combat is her strong suit; attacks from afar would be more effective in attacking her, though she can be easy to lose track of. An advantage she has in battle is her body. It's ridiculously intolerant to pain, no matter how much she complains - she has an almost unheard of endurance rate. Her four arms mean more dangerous close-combat, while her detachable limbs can make many distances into close-combat.

FINALLY, I have a decent colored picture of Sinia!
I've had her for quite a while. Probably 2-3 years? I don't even know. This little bugger won't leave me alone.
She's not the most pleasant, charming, or attractive, but she's certainly... interesting.
I hope you all enjoy her as much as you are able ;u;
Thank you for viewing and reading!
