Yeah so this is a pretty terrible painting of Serj from System of a Down. One of my all time favourite bands since I was in my preteens, this guy has such an amazing voice.It needs a lot more polishing, especially on the details and hair but I'm just too tired and sick to be bothered (although the shitty hair and grimy looking face is bothering me a lot). I might get it polished up before the portfolio is due, or I might not.

I pumped up the colours a lot for the sake of experimentation. Think I might go back to my much darker style in future, I enjoy it a lot more even if it does use a lot of black to achieve its effect.

The hair is freaking awesome, but it might be the hair line that is troubling you. The hair looks like a separate layer to the head. but i have no idea how u would blend it.... slightly fuzzier or finer hair maybe? The colour level is nice and having something lighter adds depth to your portfolio.
The eyes and eyebrows are perfect - so don't change them!

I can definitely see what you mean, I think it needs a bit more blending, I was in a rush to finish this before the due date but now that I have time to adjust it I'll keep the hairline in mind for sure. Thanks for the critique, I appreciate it a lot.

A really tiny brush and the tears of my enemies went into the creation of his hair. Not sure which was more important in the process. Trust me man, it could be a lot better, don't use me as a role model for hair whatever you do
