Remember when I said I was going to make a Naruto OC? Well, I kind of was smitten with the concept of Naru/Saku lovechildren, and we got Arashi out of it. Hailing from an AU that branches off from chapter 698, he was raised in a single parent home by his mother following the disappearance of Naruto and Sasuke some years prior.

What's this? My Naruto OC? Yes. It- kind of happened inadvertently, because I'm probably garbage in a past life. He doesn't normally wear the haori, by the way. For the most part, he's still a work in progress, but a few bullet points can help ( possibly! ) clarify things!

+ Divergent from Chapter 698 - this, by proxy, means that he's based in an alternative universe. The tl;dr would be, single mom Sakura raises a child, Naruto and Sasuke are missing following their final battle and are presumed deceased. Kakashi is still Hokage by the time that Arashi gets promoted to Jounin. The state of the world, if anything, is questionable. Political tensions run high without Naruto there to band people together and spearhead a revolution to change the world for the better.

+ The not so tl;dr is that Naruto and Sakura, for lack of a better term, consummated a nonexistent relationship, once ( following her whole 'I love you' attempt that was called out in mainstream continuity ). While there were hangups and regrets, neither had negative feelings towards one another. Sakura only learned she was pregnant with Arashi following the fourth shinobi war.

+ For the most part, Arashi grew up isolated from the previous generation due to Sakura's own grief at losing both her teammates, a common misconception that she could have done something to save them by the villagers, and a few falling outs with friends. Because of this, he was cripplingly shy for ages and had a demeanor that was misperceived as aloof and reticent. He only came out of it when his genin team allowed him to grow and prosper.

+ His teammates are Inuzuka Ashi ( owned by ) and Takami Natsuyama ( owned by ) ; we're still up in the air about their sensei, but at the moment it seems to be Shizune.

+ If you do need to know tics inherited from his parents, he does have a nasty temper ( albeit, more focused and condensed instead of explosive ), has a fox-cap to accompany his pajamas, and Sakura's tendencies to romanticize things. Ironically, he's incredibly dense towards romantic feelings towards him, leading to a near decade of his teammate attempting to get Arashi to reciprocate his feelings. He also tends to make dattebane and shannarou whenever he gets incredibly flustered, leading to... dattenarou- it's actually something that really embarrasses him.

+ Still up in the air about if he should get summons or not. SOMEBODY ( side eyes infinite-tan ) thinks that he should get foxes. I'm thinking weasels. idk.

+ No Rasengan. Idk why, but I don't want him to have it yet. Or ever. Maybe if I'm convinced.

+ Yes he does have Sakura's monstrous strength.

+ Yes, when he activates the strength of one-hundred seal, his whisker marks get thicker. I thought it'd be cute, idk.

+ Attire is subject to change with a bit of finagling.

+ Feel free to pitch potential angst fest ideas maybe. Or include your OC's if you'd like, ayyy.
