It's only a matter of choice, but I just think that artists should experiment with different techniques every so often, colour being a -obvious- thing there.
I'm not saying this piece 'specifically' should be coloured, but some coloured work would be nice. But hey! If your the hired artist to colour then, has a good deal going. Cuz your work is great.

Well, I just don't map it out. I don't really get how to do anything but shade black and white, which is completely different because it's all about contrast and being able to see the main point of the image the way I do it.
It's like when you take a colorful pic and make it black and white and it looks like crap. Yeah. That's why it's harder. :[

Hey it's okay. I was told your practising!! Which is good. If you have photoshop; The trick I learned was to brighten the contrast till you left with thick black lines. Then, using the paint bucket, fill in the gaps. After that I grab the black in a paint brush, turn the opacity right down (about 17%) and paint where the dark shadows are. Then where the highlights are, grab the white, at about the same opacity again. It's hard. It took me a long time to learn.
And if you already know this, then forget it, and I apologise. I ramble too much anyways!!
