Description I'm trying to learn to paint with photoshop right now and have been told the best way to learn is to do still lives.

The still life was of white cloth, a sliver ring and a wooden egg hopefully it looks like it lol

The reason why i did the painting in gray scale was in order to try to simplify an already complicated task. Plus getting the values right is what makes an image look like what it is you're trying to draw. ^__^

well doing still lives is a great way to do it.
Also I find that you always have to ask yourself "is there an easier way to do this?" while using Photoshop because more often than not there is lol

I ask myself that A LOT. I know I am not knowing most of the tools and features and the smart way to do things.
