I never thought I'd honestly work on art again, let alone do a full painting. D: I worked my butt off on this piece, but I do admit I kinda half assed it at the end because I couldn't look at it anymore! I like how it came out, though.
I wanted to color something, so I hit up the awesome =Enaxn and asked to color one of her characters and she gave me this lineart, that *Humingbird did! :'D thank yoooou, Anne.

BARGH. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT TOOK SO LONG TO COMMENT ON THIS! Shame on me! Absolute shame on me! Ughhh Lisa there are seriously no words for how amazing this is. There really aren't. I mean, not only did you whip out your AMAZING color skills, but by jove there's even a BACKGROUND! And not just a background, but an AMAZING background! <333 I love the sort of tan/green color you picked for the grass! the grass itself is so soft-looking too! Like I want to crawl through the screen and roll in it! And I love all the little bark lines in the tree and those pretty LEAVES. omg the entire tree is just LOVE. Plus the angle of that treeline is JUST awesome! AND THE CLOUDS. I love their SHAPE! And all those puffy shades omg. I just want to jump around through them forever and ever omg.
Denali himself is AMAZING. SO damn amazing! His hair is just STUNNING! I love the purplish blue you used as the base! and all those TEENY TINY little flowy hairs! Ugh he's just perfect! Plus that BLUE! LOOK AT THE BLUE! It's bunched just perfectly and UGH you didn't do what I always do when I color lines and make it look.... like... flat. Idk SO hard to explain BUT YOU DO IT PERFECTLY. His scales though ugh HIS SCALES. EVERY. SINGLE. SCALE. Give love and attention and more love. Each one is shaped perfectly PERFECTLY. I especially love his big body scales and those ting purpleyopaly white scales on his hind legs. they're just so perfect. Plus I love the shading on all his spikes and his whiskers and the WINGS. HOW DO YOU SHAE WINGS WOW. SO PERFECT. they have so much delicious shape and definition and little shadies ugh I LOVE it.
Blah this comment still sucks BUT OMG. I feel SO honored to have a colored Lisapiece! I've always LOVED loved the way you color things. I've spent so long pawing through your gallery looking at all your art and eeeee I'm just so HAPPY! Could I possibly bother you for the full size so I can plaster it on my desktop and wall and face and everything else that sticks out? Pleasepleaepleaaaaase? Omg thank you THANK YOU! <33333

Denali probably IS the most gorgeous beastie that I know of, no joke. you've got such a crazy good mind for character designs. <333 I -loved- shading his hair. I eventually -hated- shading his scales. lmao. but you know what? I don't think I come close to matching the level of detail you do in your amazing colorings.
