Don'tcha just love alliteration?
Ah, summer; my favorite time of year. Nice and warm, and you can go swimming just about anytime. Of course, having the ultimate assassin come for you would just ruin things. 
This one started out as me wanting to show off Dayna's blade-hands.
Everything else just kinda came together naturally. The pose, the clothes, the setting and background...I love it when a picture makes itself.And ya' know what? I didn't really appreciate the value of low res figures until recently. Probably in :thumb179369183: , and again here. Any and all constructive feedback is appreciated.

The blood is very nicely done! Trying to figure out how a big cherry tree is rooted in that little pot though, hehe.
Do you create stuff from scratch, out of curiosity? The character seems very unique!

Thank you! As for the tree...there's actually a hole underneath the pot and the flooring so it's implanted in the ground. 
Um, yes and no. I don't make the models myself; I buy them. That particular figure is Aiko 3 w/ Kioki morphs injected (all from Daz3d.com), but I typically tweak the morphs myself. The face I made by loading a sphere and adjusting it with the D-Form tool, as well as making trans maps for both the sphere and her face (so they'd look a little better together w/o having to do too much post-work). I did pretty much the same for her arms and blades. Trans map for her hands at the wrist, then I placed the blades where her hands were. I had to post-work that part quite a bit, though, since her arms are round, but the blades were flat.
As for the character herself...I came up with her when I was 12. I think I put in the comments of another picture that she was basically the result of me not wanting to draw a face and mess up the whole picture (since I wasn't very good with faces then).

I've looked into the stuff on Daz3d before. It looks like a lot of fun to play with, but I would never be able to afford it

Thanks! Actually, they have a lot of freebies, between that site, Renderosity, RuntimeDNA, and more. I started off w/ freebies and one or two things I'd bought, but soon enough it became a habit (I was at least mildly addicted before, lol). For awhile, it was actually worked into our budget.
Oh yeah, and if you ever do decide to pick it up again (and get that crashing issue fixed), ~lelu as well as a few others on DA have some stuff up for free. Pop by ShareCG and look up Adzan, too.

If the person in the pool was killed by her, shouldn't there be a little blood-drip on her blades? Just an observation.

You have a point, but...um...<_<...>_>...blood tends to run off her blades quickly and doesn't stick. Yeah, that's it...
Also, the woman wasn't killed in the pool.
