Dropping a pair of Gavil snubnosed revolvers this morning...

The first one is a very compact weapon the Gavil Z11 (or the TKP-ified version of a ZIP-gun-ish). This would be a back up weapon that could be easily hidden on one's person due to it's small size. Obviously popular for self defense these weapons are also rather popular as a close quarters sucker punch hit weapon with sendai if armed with explosive HVS rounds.

This example was seized in a Policer raid on an illegal sendai gambling ring that specialized in questionable betting on the Polemon theater of war. The weapon has a color case hardened frame (a process of hardening the metal infused with alloys that causes a rainbow marbling effect on the surface. Google it kids) with a parkerized cylinder, sight rail, trigger, and hammer, Anodized gold trim and fittings. Though not really a combat weapon by design it sports a combat grip.

Gavil had experimented with various flip nose revolvers, with this one flipping up and you pop the cylinder forward to slop a new one in. It wasn't exactly the fastest loading weapon but, again, it wasn't meant for heated combat situations. They were still very useful as backups and you certainly wouldn't want to be shot by one loaded with HVS rounds.

Clearly humans would be most vulnerable to these kind of weapons than a sendai would. Sendai would load the weapons with explosive HVS rounds (risky and dangerous in these type of weapons) when they intended to fire upon another sendai. It wasn't always effective and could often cause the weapon to backfire in a most unwanted fashion.

Pencil thumb converted to digital inks and colors in Photoshop CS3. Color case hardened texture handmade in Photoshop by me.

Yeah, his open trigger guard design is pretty sick. The overall design is pretty awesome.

LOL This is funny both because... it's funny wrong funny and because in the early genesis of this project's story there were mutant death pigeons running around on Indus (it was both a gag and slightly serious in how it was approached). This gag will still likely be in there in some fashoin, for sure with some sendai carrying signs, at protests, saying "Do not eat pigeon meat".

Touche' yonder comedy XD

I won't eat pigeon or dove meat.
Wait, I have had Dove bars.
Oh the shame!

Had a crazy coworker who talked about eating baby pigeons.
Unless they are properly cleaned, it sounded pretty gross.

At one of my old jobs my boss used to tell me about finding burned pigeon
bodies and he would say homeless people would catch and eat pigeons.

Makes one wonder what Dove bars are made of...

Yeah that does sound pretty nasty, they're essentially flying rats as we all know. The ones in Theos were supposed mutant death pigeons... I scarez. If they actually make an appearance beyond a passing sign gag and such they were actually going to look very trippy and not so much like a regular pigeon, not so much XD

I might do something with Death Pigeons, all sharp edged wings and knife like beaks.
Old ladies feed these too but only if they can't get out the park fast enough.
