Back from a short hiatus due to some problems with my PC (all rectified and all's working fantastically) time to get to posting new stuffs.

Here we have a collection of TKP Shettiers, the flechette firing weaponry that is most common in the setting. Some are loosely based on existing real world weapons as I like to throw some cues in the mix due to the stories sense of fractured history. That is to say humanity has only pieces of their history to refer to. When designing a new gun they might refer cues to whatever historical record of a gun they may have at their disposal at the time, which is limited. Most of the guns are very fictional "Theos" in nature though.

These are all rough thumbs with some monochromatic color action. I'm posting these as deviations to alert watchers that there is a LOT of these rough concepts in scraps. Please, by all means activate watch scraps, for this gallery, if you follow the Theos material

Thanks man These are fun to work out as my design brief is to focus on familiarity, visual elegance and lack of visual clutter, and a sense of unfamiliar futurism. The primary focus is to keep the designs visually clean and functional looking overall. Pretty much everything in the TKP setting will, hopefully, visually appear to belong there.

wouldn't have the same issue if you are using a Mac.

Could very well be although all technology is prone to problems depending on the issue. Either way it's a non issue now and my set up is running smooth as butter now

Back in action! Yes!

2nd from the bottom on the left, please. Love the way that angled plane is catching the light. I want one. Want to brandish it in my hands and admire the shape. The 80's movie buff in me wouldn't mind it being a few inches longer...

Back indeed though, technically, I never stopped working.

I will, over time, do a lot more designs and likely there will be precisely the type of variants you're wishing for. These weapons are used by both humans and the sendai. Some sendai specific designs can often be larger or unconventional in grip design and balance. More to come for sure...

My thanks Hadn't considered the notion of Russian designs when doing them but that's cool either way. Ultimately they are supposed to look both familiar and exotic at the same time.

Yeah, well you did it well, they seem familier, but new. Good work ^ ^
