It's the 7th of August. deviantART 's birthday!
I had to submit this photo thinking of one of the creators of deviantART: °jark
He's been pushed out from the leading team last month and it's not fair. With this facts in mind, you can look at this photograph I took in Zagreb - CROATIA in the morning of the 24th of July. The whole thing has a steel line cutting a yellow path. Nothing related to the yellow brick road from "the wizard of Oz" though...
To explain this 100% : It's a segment of a tram-line rail and the yellow paint is a street mark (actually a piece of a direction pointer). The ground has concrete as a base for the tram rails and asphalt for the cars' driving lane.
The "perfect" diagonal of the rail is (as you should've known
) 100% intentional. I won't tell why. 
And while this shot could be an abstract photo, the events in the last couple of weeks kinda turned it into a conceptual piece. No manipulation on the image. (I just threw it over the border layout).

okei...am remarcat poza asta acum aproape doua luni..nu stiu de ce, parca pana acum nu am avut curaj sa o comentez...dupa mine ca un fel de Mecca a minimalului...
inainte de toate, trebuie sa spun ca lucrarea e foarte puternica datorita fragmentului de metal care traverseaza fotografia pe o diagonala perfecta
din punct de vedere cromatic, e sublima lucrarea..putine combinatii imi plac mie mai mult decat negru-galben(mai e portocaliu-albastru deschis..aia ma innebuneste, motiv pt care cealalta lucrare minimala care ma fascineaza e tot de-a ta..zidul cu umbra..cu fereastra...stii..)
sunt multe de spus despre fotografia asta, dar nu stiu daca sunt in masura..pot sa spun ca imi place enorm, am incercat sa iti zic si de ce...

Black borders are quite often in my gallery... But the lazy bears never see them cos' they have to click them buttons to get there! Oh! The straining effort!

I really like this. The textures make good transitions. The angle is interesting as well. There's alot going on in this photograph, but not too much.
