Thanks. A bit too capital ship heavy, perhaps. Should add more mid-range and smaller ships...

those combat drones seem decent enough to make picket screens

They're meant to be launched in huge numbers: attrition rates are almost always very high, but even a few drones that manage get through enemy defenses (as well as opposing drone swarms) have, despite their small size, enough firepower to cripple or even destroy even large capital ships.

The Warliner has slightly greater max acceleration, but the Final Victory can maintain its max acceleration for a longer time.

A cohesion amplifier strengthens the binding force between atoms and molecules of physical matter, making it stronger and more resistant to damage.

And yeah, a single well-equipped warship from Myric's AnceriousGalactic universe could probably easily take out my entire scifi universe, since they have access to technologies I refuse to use. Their ships' energy generation and weapon outputs are orders of magnitude greater than anything in my universe.

As well as my mine weakest ships should be taken to disintegrate Nakai ships and battle fortresses with ease. They also run on extremity advanced and powerful quantum singularity quantum zero-point quantum entanglement and quantum resonance reactors.Β  Β

No, it would take the Beyonder level tech to Turley kill them and threaten them.Β

Vumpalouska In reply to admiralnatsilane [2019-07-13 13:01:12 +0000 UTC]

I seriously doubt that. The Nakai are one of the most overpowered precursor races to ever exist in fiction. It'd take Xeelee-level tech to truly threaten them.

I don't mean to interrupt, but what series do these Nakai aliens come form? I am always on the lookout for obscure Sci-fi content. I tried searching them up, but all I get are the Nakai from the Stargate universe, and I don't remember them being a overpowered precursor race.Β

They're an ancient precursor race from the Ancerious Galactic roleplaying universe, created by Emperor Myric: www.deviantart.com/emperormyri…

Thanks! And damn, I guess I should of figured as much... In the Ancerious Galactic universe, each and every race is varying degrees of overpowered, but these guys take the cake.

1. Weakest ship in your universe? What could it stand up against?

2. Strongest ship in your universe? What could it stand up against?

3. What're the way(s) some one would travel interplanetary space?

4. A grandliner vs A lighthugger, which one wins?
The Cache weapons are not allowed, nor any post Inhibitor technologiesΒ

5. Is it actually realistic to have weapons capable of doing Gigatons to Terratons of damage?Β

6. Besides FTL, does your universe have any other universe law defying technologies?

7. Could you universe make a Casaba Howitzer that could be reusable on a ship? Could actual humanity do it with enough technological advancment

FTL is not universe breaking tech it is allowed under known science with things like black hole drives dark matter theoretical gravity and exotic matter drives and more. It is not banned form name as far as I can tell.Β Β

beetlelion12 In reply to Vumpalouska [2019-02-01 15:19:17 +0000 UTC]

Ok, a shorter list

1. A grandliner vs A lighthugger, which one wins?
The Cache weapons are not allowed, nor any post Inhibitor technologies

2. Is it actually realistic to have weapons capable of doing Gigatons to Terratons of damage?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Vumpalouska In reply to beetlelion12 [2019-02-04 19:34:20 +0000 UTC]

1. Depends on the individual ships. On average, a Grand Liner would probably win, because as we learned from Weather, most lighthuggers are not particularly heavily armed and only carry defensive weaponry. Against the likes of Nostalgia for Infinity with its massively powerful hull weapons, there's a good chance the ships would annihilate each other.

2. There's no physical laws against such weapons, so they're plausible, at the very least. But they're about as far removed from our modern-day lives as any other scifi superscience.

beetlelion12 In reply to Vumpalouska [2019-02-05 02:43:50 +0000 UTC]

2. Could you produce enough energy with a single powersource that would allow such powerful weapons?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Vumpalouska In reply to beetlelion12 [2019-02-05 03:29:08 +0000 UTC]

Maybe with a total conversion reactor or high quantities of stored antimatter.

beetlelion12 In reply to Vumpalouska [2019-02-06 20:18:56 +0000 UTC]

1. You think each weapon would have a separate engine?Β

2. Total conversion reactor? What the heck is that?

3. Would the gigaton to terraton weapons be like a spinal mounted weapon? Or like some giant broadside weapon?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Vumpalouska In reply to beetlelion12 [2019-02-06 22:32:39 +0000 UTC]

1. Probably.

2. A reactor capable of turning matter directly to energy

3. Likely both

Sorry if the other comment is still in your reply box. Anyway, to the question

1. Also, I've been doing some research on the weapons damage output, and for the levels of power you'd want to have, you'd need more than 1000 US tons of matter for theΒ  M-t-E device for a single shot with 25 Terratons of TNT. And even in the Gigaton range, you'd need more than a ton of matter. Idk why any ship would carry literal tons of TNT of random matter, even if for such damage output.Β
-Sorry for the rant and if I sound negative, but I'm not sure if any kind of group would carry that much matter around on a regular basis.Β Β
