That's actually happened to me before on multiple occasions. The only difference is that for me it started when my younger brother got mad at me for one reason and threw a book directly at the side of my face hitting me ear dead on. I had it for a good couple of days then it stopped. I still get it sometimes just randomly though, its so annoying. I feel your pain XD

I have the skill that Art-0f-Poetry described (able to hear inside on command), as well as Auto-phony, the only reason I have Auto-phony is because I can't hear out of my right ear, but for some reason I can hear my insides in my right ear.

I have a skill where I can hear the blood rushing, through the vessels of my ears, on command. :3 (I only know this because I asked my science teacher about it and this is what she believes it is, so I take her word for it. ^^)
But I don't think it's good for me. :I It sounds like thunder. It's awesome. But, sorry about your Auto-phony. Must be pretty annoying. I hope it goes away and leaves you in peace.

Thank you. I usually have to do it in really quiet tests because when it's too quiet in a test I will do a mini panic. X3

hmmm I dont think I know anthing about that but Ive experienced it before when I had swimmers ear (Btw some people mistake swimmers ear for just water in the ear when really its an infection in the outer ear when there is leftover moisture in the ear from swiming or the shower and it strips the outer ear of its protective layer of skin so it leaves the ear open to bactirial infection)
I do know that if I ever had like just regual water in my ear from like swimming it helps to blow into a ballon and it cleared my ears
then again you said its probably not a blockage thats causing the autophony...
hmmmmmmmm...

Hmm, I don't know, maybe you should go to an ear specialist. You do clean your ears regularly, right?
When I had my ear infection a few months ago this was also one of the symptoms, although the fact that it hurt like a bitch and kept on leaking ear wax was much worse though.

I don't really pay attention to how often I clean them, but knowing me I do have a habit of cleaning everything in the shower, so it should be alright.
Yea, that's why I don't think it's an infection or ear wax build up. I don't have anything leaking, the stuffed feeling would come very suddenly and I don't think ear wax builds up within seconds, plus it also disappears within a few hours usually which ear wax doesn't to either. I don't feel pain or anything, so when I read possible causes on the Internet, something related to the Eustachian tube sounds much more plausible in this case.
Then again, I'm no doctor, so I might be completely wrong, who knows
Though I'd like to go to a doctor while experiencing the symptoms, but because they come and go like that, it's very hard Maybe the fact that it's so occasional means I shouldn't worry in the first place, I don't know.

But every time it happens I squeezed in that, er, 'thing' right before your ear hole to adjust the pressure and it was gone for a few minutes.
Let me examine your ear, take your clothes off.

Interesting :3 Can't say I experience that too often (though there have been a few times where my ears will suddenly shut down and refuse to function and then start back up again minutes to hours later). It's pretty fascinating, as medical phenomena go ^^

I experience a similar effect when I get excessive wax build up or liquid stuck in my ears, found blinking real hard alleviated the problem for a few seconds but not long enough to make a difference. It would take several days to go away, or have to spend hours on my side useing potant chemicals to clean it out, or just see a doctor who has one of those vacumey things. Nearly always my right ear.
Now your likely not suffering from the same cause as those are pretty easy to determine. So my suggestion would be to consult a real doctor, Google, Dr Zed and the Team Fortress medic don't count, they don't have medical licenses. It's likely an inflammation inside your ear, caused by damage (scratch, minor infection, bug bite) or an allergic reaction. Taking an Antihistamine or an Anti-Inflammatory (many pain-killers contain such) might help, but consulting a real doctor while experiencing the symptoms will result in a more accurate diagnosis, otherwise they would likely just tell you to take an Antihistamine or an Anti-Inflammatory and get back to them if it doesn't work.
Sorry, wanting to be helpful/useful is a real quirk of mine, can't help it.
That expression though, it really captures the confusion and annoyance caused by the problem, I can relate to that and just want to hug and say 'It's ok, we can fix this' >.<
*hugs*

Hmm, I'm not sure if it's the ear wax, it could be, but it doesn't seem like it. But who knows? Maybe I'm wrong.
I will consult a real doctor, though our doctor is on vacantion right now, and since the symptoms come and go within a few hours it's hard to consult him as I'm experiencing the problem, which leads to, as you said, him being all "It could be this, try this and this". I think it's more likely to be related to my Eustachian tube than to ear wax or infections? Because of its habit of reappearing and vanishing unexpectedly and sometimes not happening for over a month. It would surprise me if it was ear wax causing that, I don't know.
But thanks for the advice anyway! I hope it's just an occasional thing that only happens every now and then, then I'll live. If it gets worse than it is now, then shit
And thank you! c:

If it only lasts a few hours or so, it's likely not Wax... and Infections tend to be incredibly painful... so likely not that either. Next time you experience it try taking a nasal decongestion (the tablet type not the spray, spraying in the ear is not recommended and spraying the nose just won't work)
My sister said that worked for her as she has experienced this exact problem in the past.
^_^ Glad to be of some assistance.
If there was more hugs in the world it would be a better place.
