I was going to make a really big picture, something comic-like maybe. But time, fursona changes, school, ideas. So it's just this now. At first it was going to be bits of lyrics from many songs, but I really didn't like how it sounded, so I picked this song because I liked it a lot here. Picking a font and trying to make the drawing less cluttered were hard, and I didn't entirely succeed, but I hope you won't mind. I will make you many better drawings later, but this day certainly needed a drawing.

As this deviation submits (because I scheduled it obviously) it just turned midnight in the GMT+1 timezone. For us both, it's the 26th of October. And you know what that means.
365 days ago, this was the day where I took the train to Germany, all on my own. Me, the girl who would never even go a Belgian city (apart from those my schools were in) on her own. My parents weren't too fond of the idea either, but they let me go. And there I was, all alone in a trainstation where I didn't know anyone, didn't speak the language, didn't even have the courage to buy myself something to eat. And I was nerve-wrecked, because the whole reason I was here might have been for nothing. Because you were texting me about the trains being cancelled. Out of all days, they had to pick this one! Luckily, one train did. I waited in the busy trainstation for about two hours I believe, but it was worth it in the end. When you texted "Gonna find you now" I was so nervous. I kept looking around nervously, wondering where you'd come from. And then I saw you, and you saw me, and yea. I think it wasn't more than an hour later that you asked if you could call me your girlfriend now, and I said yes.

This has easily been the most eventful year of my life, and I don't regret any of it. The three secret meetings, the panic and despair when we were caught and they wanted to keep us apart for three years, the sudden unexpected change when we asked for permission to meet up at an international event, the meetings at your house. It all brought us to where we are now. And that is, still together. And with even more good things to look forward to. You coming to my house is no longer something unthinkable. Perhaps during Easter break or summer, we can stay together for four days again, or longer. There's no more guilt or fear about your parents finding out. Things are better now, and I'm grateful for it.

And what's even better: In this whole year, there hasn't been a single day in which we didn't talk, not one day in which you didn't reassure me that you still love me. (It's hard to believe for me, let me ) Every day, you give me something to look forward to, something to be happy about. Every day you're there for me. You and I have our mistakes, we aren't always happy or full of energy, but so far there has been nothing we couldn't overcome, and I hope that won't ever change. I can talk to you about anything, even if it's embarassing, or awkward, or painful. And we always manage to work things out. Together. Which is great c:

And I said it before, but I love being with you in real life. When we're apart, I always forget how exactly it feels, but it's awesome. Not that I don't love how you are online, that's how I met you and fell for you after all, but in real life it's just... whoa. Perfection. I love how in sync we are, and just everything about you. Physically, too. You're so warm and soft and you smell so good I'm not a very affectionate person but I love cuddling you. I can't wait to be with you again, because I'm always having the best time ever and i hope I can make you feel the same.

I also love your fursona, she's the cutest raccoonfoxcat I've ever seen. Possibly the only one, too. But I love her and how she fits with Bienie. Just mentioning that here too.

Okay but really, I love you so much and I really wouldn't ever get tired of being with you like this. You're the best thing I have, the main goal I have in life, and I wouldn't want to give my heart to anyone else. I don't know what else to say, just. Thank you. Thanks for the amazing year, for being there, for being mine, for doing all of this for me. I have no idea how I deserve it, but it makes me so happy and I'll be sure to try and reciprocate all of that. I don't know if I can ever give you as much as I want you to give, but I know I won't stop trying.
