Did you know that the Castlevania animated show, which combines the universes of Konami, Hudson Soft and DC Thomson, was going to include an episode inspired by Thalion Software's Lionheart?

In fact, the production committee of the Castlevania animated show ordered more ThunderCats -inspired episodes. One of them was the planned episode inspired by Thalion Software's Lionheart. Four pages of the episode's synopsis were written and the final results were indeed closer to the aforementioned game. But the episode's production was halted after the first draft of the screenplay was rejected. It was apparently because of the stereotypes common in the fiction works set in Africa, especially in the adventure movies. Morgyn the Mighty would have team up with his rival, Strang the Terrible , in order to rescue a rare specimen of the African savanna hare (Lepus victoriae) somewhere in Ethiopia .
