Description Genesis Rhapsodos... where to begin...
I wanted to practice some shading work so I figured this was the image to go with, as well as being one of my favorite screenshots from Crisis Core.
Holy crap his hair!! Every freaking hair on his head is a different color!! But, since that's what I wanted to practice I shouldn't complain.

Painted using GIMP on top of a sketch I made from prior mentioned screenshot over the course of about 2 weeks. Heavily referenced original image for the hair...

Overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Ugh too long! It's really hard to say, I worked on it a couple hours a night for 2 weeks, but my computer froze on me a few times so I ended up redoing his hair like 4 times...I'd say probably 15 hours altogether.
