Congratulations for winning the Halloween Contest over at with A Trick and a Treat I sighed contentedly, blowing a puff of smoke between pursed lips as I kicked the leaves up around me. The air was crisp, with a light tingle to it and the unmistakable scent of fall. There was nothing I loved more than fall.

It was the time when the relentless heat of summer died away. When you could wear sweaters, and scarves, and all sorts of paraphernalia associated with coziness. Fall, when you could curl up by the fire and fall asleep with a cold face. The world turned beautiful, and for a few brief months came adorned with the most vivid colors of warmth and salvation.

The world was dying, but my heart felt like it could fly.

For her prize she wanted an icon of herself barfing lol. That's a new one for me, but I think she came out rather well.
