I'm just wondering how you got the texture on the oranges so detailed.

Orange photo texture halfway stamped and then I went through and lit it correctly. XD

Haha! That's one way to do it! I was like "Omg. That must have taken her ages to paint all those little textured bits!" lol

Yeeah, I cheat. Heh, but that's what digital painting is good for most of the time, right?

I wouldn't say that's what it's good for, but it's certainly one of the conveniences. lol I can't do traditional media for the life of me, but I "cheat" by drawing one eye, then copying and pasting it onto another layer and flipping it when doing a head on shot of a face. Same thing for the outline of the face when it's head on. Usually do that if I just want to get the lines done quickly.

It's a great idea, at least for structure. Once you get that down, you can work it so they don't look too copy and paste but yeah, totally a good strategy.

Yeah, I only do the outlines of the eyes that way, and draw the rest of the eyes by hand, that way there's some variance. :3 Saves so much time. I'm a huge nitpicker and can't stand it when faces are obviously asymmetrical when they shouldn't be...

Very, very excellent work! My only critique would be that, when viewed close up, edges of the fruit and on the fur of the kiwi you can see that it's painted and not the actual thing. I can see the same thing on the berries, but I believe that is just a lack of highlighting. And even that wouldn't have been as noticeable if the rest of the fruit wasn't so amazing. The amount of detail in the apples, oranges, plum and the slice of kiwi is amazing! I love how I can see the dimples in the oranges and the the color and the sheen of the apples. The seeds and the shine on the slice of kiwi make me do a double take every time I see it.

First off: *HUGS* Secondly, yeah you're completely right. I got a little stir crazy by the end of this and ended up not doing as thorough of a job on the rest. It's on the list to go back and finish though.... Thirdly: Hugs again!!
