This is such a late birthday gift for you Aku XD But omg this was definitely worth it! I think this is one of my best drawings so far. I've never done foreshortening like this before, especially with hands XDIn any case............ HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY You're such an amazing artist! Too pro for me hahaha!!!!
Oh yeah.. I got some shit the other day saying that I'm a wannabe, copying another artist's style. For those who don't know me, I've been drawing like this ever since I started digital, I just learn new tricks and improve. And if you're gonna say crap that I'm just copying, well you know what.. no one has an original style. You can always find someone with a style that is similar to someone else's. And those that are saying "so and so" is stealing "so and so's" style.. I bet you "copy" other artists' styles you admire too. So STFU and leave people alone. No one needs your crap.

AHHHH I'm so happy to finally see the finished artwork!!<333 (I had dropped by the multi livestream you and Aku did a while back). The foreshortening is super well done even though it was your first time doing it~ *___* I also really like how the highlights add a lot of "pop" and boldness to the piece
and sorry that people are giving you crap about you "copying" other artists' styles :< There are only so many ways to color or draw something that no single individual is going to have an absolutely unique style where no one else in the world has a similar style >___< I'm honestly dumbfounded by the kind of comments people try to come up with these days when trying to put down other artists' work smh

it's unfortunate how many people, including some "artists", who have that closed mindset :< I try not to let it get to me but some of their comments can be so infuriating! I never understood how people justify the whole "if your artwork is stolen/reposted/claimed to be someone else's, then you should consider it flattery because it means that you're popular!" or "if you don't want rude comments/stolen or reposted artwork, then don't post in online at all!" UGH. Comments like "oh you're character looks like [insert canon character]" are pretty bad too...BUT I try to look on the bright side of things, that there are plenty of people, including non-artists, who have respect for art and the artists and try to spread awareness not to do such things, and I can only hope that eventually that'll be the opinion of the majority.
