This image will be part of the artbook in preparation. Someones may recognize an old picture from 2005 that I fully surrender to the taste of the day. I hope you enjoy this new version very symbolic of the history around Jollwin Lonegreen.
For those unfamiliar with the characters, here Elwen, Jollwin and Joll, an angel ... not very recommendable. All three characters of the comics book I'm working on, The Chronicles of Arcea. But this image is especially dedicated to one of two rings worn by Jollwin, his red ring always worn on his left hand and in charge of a weird power that exacerbates the evil tendencies of Jollwin ...

Cette image fera partie du artbook en préparation. Certains reconnaitrons peut-être une vieille illustration de 2005 que j'ai entièrement remise au goût du jour. J'espère que vous aimerez cette nouvelle version très symbolique de l'histoire autour de Jöllwin Lonegreen.
Pour ceux qui ne connaîtraient pas les personnages, voici Elwen, Jöllwin et Joll, un ange pas très recommandable... Tous trois, personnages de la bande dessinée sur laquelle je travaille, Les Chroniques d'Arcea. Mais cette image est surtout dédiée à l'un des deux anneaux que porte Jöllwin, son anneau rouge, toujours porté à sa main gauche et qui, chargé d'un pouvoir étrange, exacerbe les mauvais penchants de Jöllwin...

The winged man looks shady, as he's reaching for the ring, he's mischievously grinning at the audience. Yet, the other man is resting on him as though he trusts him. It certainly is a unique relationship.

The lighting takes all in this image. I'm absolutely taken with it, as well as the shadows the figures cast on one another.

In my point of view, the red light is really important. May be more than the background, because it figures all the power and magic of the ring ^^

I love the dramatic lighting and the glow effects. The Crow wings look amazing with the slight texture. And I just can't ever get over how freaking sexy your male characters are!!!

I did the image the first time in 2005 and I may have used a reference. I don't remember, but it could be possible because I like Clamp works.

This is absolutely gorgeous - the lighting and shading are wonderful, especially with the red hue...and there's just something about the way the figures are positioned together that I can't quite put my fingers on...this is truly beautiful.

Your style is so lovely. I wonder... Do you take any inspiration from Moebius? Your style reminds me a bit of some of his comic work.
