Description Sorry it's been a long time since I've uploaded art here!

I drew this back in 2013 for my senior AP portfolio and recently retouched it! I tried not to alter it too much, just a few things that bothered me about some of the forms and a little lighting. The original is here:Β fav.me/d635xml

Ahh, thanks Kumo!!! It's been such a long time since we've talked, how are you?

I kind of wish I had the time to redo the flowers haha, they could definitely look more organic (more like roses or daisies perhaps?) but I decided to leave it alone since it would probably cover up too much of the original conception of the piece... It's pretty weird trying to fix art from years ago, that's for sure!

gosh I know- sorry I've hardly commented on your work, life has just been happening ; v ; I'm good! I've been living abroad for a month and a half so life is a bit confusing and hectic, but exciting nonetheless : D I hope all is well with you?

Honestly I quite like what you did with the flowers, it keep the impression of the thorns being more like barbed wire intact, not to mention the firework effect the flowers have It would have been an interesting alternative though, might be worth a sketchcheck?

It's ok haha, I'm hardly around on dA anymore either... spending a lot more time on tumblr and twitter, deviantart is rather stagnant in comparison..!

Oh wow, living abroad, that sounds incredible! *___* I hope you are adjusting well, wherever you are! I'm doing alright myself, university is kind of kicking my ass haha but I'll be ok. ;;Β

Personally I still very much like deviantart, but I miss the community that has moved elsewhere ;7; also tumblr tends to be extremely time consuming without any productive results ahahaha...

Thank you! There's a language gap, but I'm managing When university stops kicking your butt I can absolutely recommend going abroad for a while! I'd recommend going somewhere with a language you know the basics of tho uvu
