"This is as far down as it goes," Keesha whined, leaning forward but only as much as her lap-filling bust would allow. Petulantly she bounced against the bar, frowning into her cleavage as she started a jiggle-induced seismic event. Heads in the gym swiveled towards her.

Yasmene wasn't falling for it. She knew her friend wanted sympathy, but she had seen her make a beeline for this particular machine as soon as they got out of the locker room. "What about that other one over there," Yasmene pointed to something where her friend's tits wouldn't be an impediment. "Or that one. There's plenty of stuff you *can* do."

"But... ugh." Keesha eyed the alternatives warily. "Look- I'm just not cut out for this working out biz. I'm not built right. You're athletic and skinny. This shit's easy for you."

"You keep using that as an excuse. You'll stay built wrong unless you do something about it. That means exercise." There was exasperation in Yasmene's voice.

Keesha dug her heels in. "I'm just not feelin' this whole gym thing. Sweating, making pieces of metal go up and down. That's not a good use of my time."

"Look- *you're* the one who asked *me* to help with your new year's resolution. Are you just gonna give up?"

"Yasmene, don't be mad," Keesha pleaded, looking very sheepish. "I wouldn't put it like that. I'm just uh, confident about the way I look now."

"Well, I tried," Yasmene exhaled as she brought her arms up and let them drop to her sides, hands clapping on her thighs.
