Sorry about the annoying glare from his purty white teeth. LOL This is basically a proto-type for a larger version I plan on making later, I didn't spend much time on editing this photo.I wasn't sure that the 'cube' would work. It's done all in one piece, so I wanted to experiment with making cubes in a single piece, instead of making six sides and sewing them together.
My 15 year old laid claim to the 'experiment' LOL. I'll be adding pattern for it on the blog after a few days. I've got several others to do as well, I'll just set aside a day for all that.

Thank you kindly! I hope you do get someone to make a few for you.... but better yet... try youtube for helpful videos on crocheting. There are THOUSANDS there... and some even specifically for this type of crochet (amigurumi or doll making). Try it out

That is exactly how I'm learning! I also take my kids to a playgroup that, while primarily a hula hooping group for us trying to get into shape, is half knitting/crochet playgroup, so I have plenty of people to help. I also have carpal tunnel, though, so it's slow going for me.

If you want, i can also try to answer questions for you if you have them. Sometimes it's just hard to identify a problem without being able to 'see' the issue, but I'm very happy to try!

I've never made an all-in-one cube, but it's always seemed to me that it would turn out blobby rather than cube-y... but yours turned out nice! It's good to know that cubes CAN be made that way!

I thought the cube would end up kinda 'blobby' too, but it worked up far better than I thought it would. Now that I know I *can* make cubes like that, I've got a ton of ideas of things to do LOL
