and now a rant

it sort of annoys me how fashionable it has become, both on deviantart and other places, for people to act like assholes for no reason,,? like, making themselves look unapproachable or being flat out rude to the people that admire them, or worse, berate them?
it's not edgy or cool telling people how much you hate something and in general being really distant and mysterious and and usually if i see a profile that says "i hate you fuck off lol bye xo" i do so
what's the point? is everybody so bitter that they have to put themselves across as somebody like that? or is their self esteem honestly so low that they are trying to drive everybody away?

it's just something that gets to me, because even leaving a comment or replying to somebody even if its to say "thanks!" is really difficult for me and i just envy the people that have the capacity to be nice and come across as nice friendly people when in real life i have people come up to me and say to me "why do you hate me, why do you think you're better than me?" when i don't think like that at all, i'm just so anxious and awkward to the point it makes me look like an arrogant twat.

if you hate yourself, c'mere, i'll give you a coffee/tea/hot chocolate and some biscuits and we can sit and talk it out or watch a movie or read together and you can feel better

this isn't aimed at anybody in particular, by the way.
