Yes! Finally done.This is Toshiro Hitsugaya, captain of the 10th division in Bleach.
In this pic he's in his Bankai form.
Doesn't he just reek awesomeness???

It's always nice to draw the shinigami with their bankai form. You just have to watch out the face anatomy and expression. The way you drew the bankai was good but there should be reflection from the light on the ice. Make it more realistic by picking a few pictures from the Internet or magazine and make comparison. You should try with a different background colour too; so it won't affect the shinigami's clothes. Well, both the background and the clothes are in black colour in your drawing, I think you need another colour for your background so viewer can focus more on the character and the details too

I should've compared pictures like you said, I'll keep that in mind for next time
By the time I got to the back ground, I was wondering what colour to do it in. Black was the only one that came to mind. I find that Blue or Green kinda make the ice blend in too much, and any other colours like kinda funny... What colour would you do?

Ah... I miss the blue colour. When I type it, blue was in my mind, because of the scene Toshiro vs Gin in the anime 
I think grey would do the job or some clouds (you know what his bankai can do right?), or perhaps draw some buildings on them
