It didn't take long for Nani to enter her "zone", David had taken some BJJ classes before and brought her along for the company. She had seen the technique in practice, so she had an idea of the concept in immobilizing & restricting an opponent. Another thing that was bringing out her inner Gracie - in close quarters, she recognized the Fruit Punch scent of the Lifeguard's hair conditioner. The same that all of the queen bees at her high school had used, overpriced but with lots of commercials. It took her back to the moments of wanting to sock them in their condescending, smirking, painted mouths. She realized, this was an opportunity to purge a little of that passive-aggressive angst from the back of her mind. This meant a tiny bit more than a job
