This is EXACTLY what happened when my cousin and aunt got me the book last Christmas. I was happy they got it, because I was actually going to ask my cousin that night if I could borrow it just to see what all the SPAZZ was about.

Someone else who isn't all hyped up on this stupid prepy vampire fad. Jesus everyone (by everyone I mean the majority of the female poplulation of my high school) loves this book.
I had to read this crap for summer reading and I freaking hated the first. They freaking give way too much detail on describing on every stupid thing that no one gives a crap about. And the only violent/awesome part/final battle got freaking unmentioned. It was supposed to be awesome but they never got to it in the book so they put it into the crappy movie.
I unno most of the people i ask about this say i dont like this book cause im a dude.
