This was an attempt to see the effects of media on mood. That and I've got to be able to draw good "dark" art so it can balance out my regular, bouncy, cartoony pieces.

Pen... Reminds me of ink drawing, where for shading you gotta take a brush, take some ink and put on something (bowl etc.) and you add water to that ink you seperated, then with the brush you shade the picture. Yea. Also, it's quite good for drawing trees, where you "spill" (better said put) water on the paper where you want the branch and leaves to be, grab the brush with ink on it and as you "tap" with the tip of the brush the ink spills trough the water, making an amazing effect.
Also la picture looks amazing. I wouldn't say its dark 'xept... Well is dark from the black pen XD, more shocking. It shocked me when I saw it in my notes. (Damn you electricity for shocking 
Also, I wonder what the letter is about... Maaaybe if I turn my phone to the left I will be able to see... (or move my head closer to the right of the screen) damn... Which reminds me, THERE'S NO ADRESS ON THE MAIL! XD

Hmm, if I ever get my hands on some inking supplies I definitely would like to try that. 
I made the shading on Jolty less prominent because of the lighter colors in her fur (yellow and white).
And there is no address on the letter.

Yea, but the fur color doesn't matter when the picture is black and white, you just gotta point out the shadow.

Well I managed to pull off what I wanted to do, which was making this picture look as depressing as it was to draw it.
I actually love pen shading but MAN it cramps your hand so quickly....
