Wow... so much happening! Power's back on and we get a lesson in basic physics.

Ever hit one of those pages and you just know it's going to be a "hump page"? One of those that if you get it done you know it'll be smooth sailing for the next few weeks? Yeah, that was this one. I really did have too much content for just one page, but not quite enough for two. Despite the amount of work that it took, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out (last one that I had... well, lets say it lost a lot of its message after editing it down).

Got a smidgen sloppy last night and forgot to edit in a few items while doing my thing in PSP, so I fixed it.

What happened is the author was an inexperienced hack two years ago

Story-wise, what happened is when the power went out the computers save-stated and went dormant. When they rebooted they went right back to doing what they had been doing... which among other things had been firing the main thruster.

The thruster restarts, Mark is in free-fall, and the deck comes up to greet him

Basic physics at work ^_^

He got the power back on so the fusion torch reactivated. See, the Morocco is built like a tower with the decks stacked on top of the rocket motor. That way anytime the main engine is activated everything and everyone is pushed against the decks as if there were gravity.

LOL! It would make for a REALLY short story. That's one circut I think I'll keep my fingers out of thank you very much.

It would be really funny though! It would be like 'What's going to happen? What's going on... oops he died' XD lol. I would pay someone to end a story like that.

I did have this concept story idea that no one seems to like involving a soldier in WW2. All the training and struggles he has leading up to D-day. The story ended with him being the first one killed when his boat hit Normandy Beach.

It actually sounds really awesome- and I like the way that for many soldiers, it probably applied to them! For some reason it sounds really well thought out! I was thinking about doing a comic similar to that, but with an Ancient Egyptian storyline and setting, but people would kill me If I got too many historical dates wrong XD

Thanks. I wrote the outline after a buddy flat stated that it couldn't be done ("We only ever want to hear the stories of the guys who made it" I think is what he said.) Of course my thought is that we usually only hear the stories of the guys who made it (since everyone else is strangely quiet on the matter )

Just read up on your comic. I'm liking this so far.
Can't wait to see new pages.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed it up to this point, hoping to get the next four pages up pretty quickly. Pretty divided at the moment though; between work, home life, and all of the drawing exercises I've been taking on lately it's really cut down on the time I've been able to devote to it.

Going to finish this "25 Expressions Challenge", can some sauerkraut, and the rest of the day goes to the comic.
