Description Otome: Oh, Tsuka! Whatever shall we do? The skin-colored prismacolor marker is no longer usable, and the microns are dying!
Tsuka: We'll just have to accept our fate and go back to being drawn only in #2 pencil and ball point pens.

Yeah. My supplies are dying. It's sad. Oh-- and the space bar on my laptop doesn't work anymore, either. It sucks.

Haha, nice dialogue.

The anatomy and cloth shading are pretty amazing. The hair is very fluid (and shiny!). And the pose is mostly well done, considering how difficult it is to draw people physically interacting. I think it could still be improved, however. He is leaning towards her, but although her head is on his shoulder, she's facing off to the side, away from him. Depending on the situation, that could work, however. XD

Anyway, yuuga de kawayui e de gozaimasu! Go-busata de moushiwake arimasen ga, doumo isogashikute...

("Kawayui" is the adjective that "kawaii" is descended from. It sounds kind of aristocratically formal, in an amusing kind of way. That is your random bit of Japanese knowledge for the day. Your picture reminded me of the meaning of "tsuka." The same Kanji can be read "gara," which is the reading that pops into my head first. Yay Kanji!)

Yes, the pose could be improved. Really, her shoulder is going through his chest!

Tsuka: Ah! Otome, you broke my heart!

And she's facing to the side only for the sake of putting some facial expression in the pic. You're right, though, it's not the most natural.

(Speaking of Japanese: U. of Washington is one the top five colleges I'm applying to soon. Wish me luck~!)

Hahaha. XD

(Ooh, you're applying to the UW!? I can certainly vouch for the excellence of its Japanese program. And I've loved my experience at the UW, and living in Seattle. What's your first choice of college?)

Best of luck with everything!

(Internet's down, gotting rush this comment in the comp lab!)

Yeah, I've actually run into a couple more UW grads (not of the Asian Studies program, though) who are insisting I go there. My first two choices are Ivy schools, though I'm not banking on getting into them. XD I'm pretty interested in a private college in Indiana, though... but hey! Every school I'm apply to (except my back-up CO choice) are all ones I'd like to go to!
