Is this from a report you did on Burma? What do you mean, sad things happened?
I'd like to know more about world politics, but Burma seems like such a difficult place to start. I have no idea what to look at first....

I'm terribly sorry, i forgot to comment on the actual picture itself in your other monastery picture.

Simply love them both. I never realized monasteries could be so intricate. i too enjoy the sharp colors, and in this one its complimentary colors.

Bless the monks, for they are the backbone of the Burmese people.

Those soldiers who shoot, kill and maim the monks will face their own karma one day.

I like the balance. The color makes the monk stand out a lot.
I think the image should not show the other door of the building. I would have preferred a total black interior.

wodnerful capture. i love the splash of color in his robes compared to the dull colors of the wall. Great expression on his face as well.

Perfect. At first I thought the green backyard is distracting, but it goes with the red 'toga' (what's that called?) well.

I agree with the above comment. This is a really special shot. The subject / content is balanced. The lighting. The framing / border. The text....

Beautiful and quality shot
