Buttercup threw on a wig that had long, scarlet hair. She didn't necessarily look Irish, but she figured it would fit better with her green eyes. Buttercup had a problem with contacts and couldn't get her eyes to focus with them on. So, in turn, she just found a wig that would match with her eyes.
