Okay, it's been FOREVER and a day since I've posted something, so here is a photomanipulation. Please, please comment to make this worthwhile, because right now I feel totally uninspired... And yeah, I know I cut out the model really badly - the whole white lighting was hard to distinguish from the background. ;-;

This is so very pretty. The model is not cut out badly. However, I do think the bird could use a bit more pink/purple seeing as that is your colour palette.

If you think so! I'm just a bit harsh on myself because I compare my artworks to other professionals. The bird was meant to stand out a bit, hence the different colour. But now you mention it, it does seem kind of out-of-place. Thanks for all your detailed comments! It's nice to get something in your inbox besides the simple "Cool!" or "Pretty!" that I normally get.

If you look closely at the edge of her neck, yes it's cut pretty badly. But I'm still happy with the end result, minus that bit.

Wow! I like this a lot! There is something very mystical about it, looks like it is pulled right out of a fairy tale!

the purple storm and lightning gives a wonderful atmosphere, and makes you think of those wonderful days, when the wind blows strong and the rain hammers on your windows.. And you cuddle up with a blanket, pen and paper and just listen to the storms outside while you draw or manipulates some photos, or something! And I love those days, so that is a good thing!

Aww, thank you so much for your comment! It really made my day. I'm happy that you can relate to it. And yes, stormy days are usually when you get inspired to write or be artistic. Also, late at night works sometimes as well.

Thank you very much! It does take time and effort, but I guess it does become easier the longer you have practiced. I'm still learning though so it's probably harder for me. The hardest part sometimes is actually trying to find images that match together to create a whole new artwork. That's why most of the time I collect a lot of different stocks before I match some that will work well together.

Yeah, I think so Just like everything, the more you practice somethin', the easier and faster it goes.
I know what ya mean, for this one the foto and background & co. match perfect, the feeling is really awesome!
Continue this way, you'll make it Patience, practice and much fun, that's important.
