When you use the clay, do you do anything special to it.

special? not really, I just cure it in boiling water instead of the oven when it's attached to a figure. In boiling water clay cures MUCH faster, a thin enough layer can even harden in less than a minute. Check out the tutorials on figurerealm.com for specific information.

What did you use to slice the spikes? Did you have to put it in hot water?

I used an exacto knife to cut off the spikes, and yes, it is easier to cut through if you soften it in hot water.

Just wanted to say that Mighty looks pretty neat! Now that I've seen it's possible to do, I'm going to try my hand at it as well.
Tomorrow I'm making a recolor of Sonic (transluscent one) into Mecha Sonic (S3K version), mainly because I want to give that figure some use.

Um, no, Jazware has announced Mighty, Shade, Fang, Omega, Rouge, Blaze, etc. figures for future release.

Well, it was on the Sonic News Network, but they removed it. They aren't a reliable source. But Rouge, Blaze, Single Super Sonic, Single Super Silver, Single Vector, and Single Opaque Espio are coming soon. Also, apparently Shade is coming, but I doubt it.

Mighty isn't an Archie character, he's been in 2 games, in fact ALL of the characters Starkid listed up there are from the games. I think the only characters Jazwares wouldn't make are cartoon or comic exclusives, such as Manik and Sonia from Sonic Underground, or Snivley and other characters from SATAM...but even then Sally, Bunnie, and Rotor made a cameo in Sonic Spinball so you can even argue a case for THEM to be made into figures since they've been in a game.
