she's actually a make up artist that I managed to get in front of the camera and she's probably the most natural model I've ever worked with. She's fabulous. thanks for your kind comments.

it's kind of what i try to achieve in all my shots. I love the images and tones on pre raphelite work, so I always try to make my girls look almost like paintings.

it's difficult for me to do something so..."bare" - I just want to heap up loads of photoshop on it. Surely she'd look better with a boat coming out of her leg? Or a parrot attached to her head? Or a giant rubber ducky looming in the background.
Trying to be a little more reserved in my work right now, maybe it reflects my mood.
Solved the mojo problem though. Just gave up on the project I wasn't winning with - put it to the side for one minute and did this instead. So now it's your turn. Oh and if you ever want to do a collab - your image, my processing, let me know. xx

I have something of a taste for classical simplicity and 'bare' brings a beauty all of it's own. and it's always important to try new things (to quote hannibal lecter).
I don't think this would gain anything by the addition of giant rubber duckies, unless maybe in a monty python way
The main piece I really HAVE to get creative with will, ironically, possibly never be seen by more than a handfull of people, thats commissions for you.
and a collab certainly appeals, hmm, will get back to you on that.
I think I'll take a dive into my archive and re-edit something...

Sometimes it is nice to hold back though, you are right there. So much of my early stuff is packed with everything I could think of, sometimes the simplicity is in the bareness.

I had a poke around my archive as i realised most of my stuff isn't on here!, a couple are re-edits, more coming up today, mostly favourates going back to 2004. As twisted as it may sound I really just need to get a model naked in a dark room for a couple of hours (don't we all, ho ho ho), I almost wrote something about creative juices flowing there but I reckon I'm already on dodgy ground and trust you know where I'm coming from, oh crikey there it goes again, I'm going to put 'Disturbed' on and fucking loud.
