That's a lovely shot. Very intense and moody. Bags of drama and feel. I see that you've used an ND Grad.May i ask which filter you used for the magenta hue on the sky? There's quite a serious curvature on the horizon, was this dilberate or a "feature" of the 17-40L lens? I love the detail on the foreground rocks that show your mastery of Selective Depth of field. I'm also a big fan of landscapes taken in the portrait format

the magenta is almost normal , coz it is the first light in the morning, i was waiting for it for 1 Hour

Ahhh! First light, you must be truly dedicated to your art! I've got up at unspeakable hours to catch the pre-sunrise vista a few times but it's tough to fit into my routine. I tend to head for sunsets these days, because I can make them work with my homelife comitments.
You may find that your ND isn't actually neutral. My Lee 0.9 has a slight magenta cast which only pokes through in certain light. I thought about sending it back and getting a more neutral one, but I actually quite like it as an effect.
Yeah, it would be nice for someone to make a wide angle that didn't have any rectilinear distortion. My sigma 12-24mm has none...zilch...nada, so it must be possible for someone to make a 16-35mm that's properly corrected!

I like them a lot, but they are quite big (100mm slot-ins) and quite expensive. But they are lovely to use and their ND grads are just sooo nice to use. They use a lens adapter and holder, which is really well made.

I love the colors. The sky is beautiful and the water is so lovely. It hardly seems like I am looking at a photo...it feels like I am looking out a window or something. The colors are just so crisp and the depth is just...wow. *favs* I love this so much. <3

Absolutely perfect. The colours balance well, and the bit of foreground really adds to the picture. The little ship in the distance is nice as well. It gives a little something to the picture
