I love the heat. 36C is perfect temperature. I have worked in very hot temperatures in the desert in Summer, 50+C, at this temp. you melt.

I love the heat too, but we needed a bit time to get used to it. In holland it was only 17c so it was a big difference.

I had to work in that heat. Drunk about 15 litres of water a day.
It is about the same temperature here as it is in Holland at the moment. How cool!!!

I am not proud of the job I did. I worked as ground crew in Seismic Exploration (mining) for Gas & Oil. Long days and hard work (12 hr/day) but I did see a lot of remote Australia.

There is nothing wrong with that job nonetheless. But it seems almost impossible to work that way in such a heat!!
The only good thing is that you saw a lot!

Yes, I lost a lot of weight that I really didn't need too. I don't think it is a job that I could have sustained for a long time with health implications! But it was good to see some of remote Australia.

No I don't think that you can do that very long in such extreme heat, specially not when you not used to it!

No, I was glad when crew shutdown as I was having to take salt tablets regularly to stop muscle cramps.
I wish I would have had my camera with me more out there though. I only have awesome memories of the desert. The dust storms probably would have wrecked it anyway.

Yes. My sister wrecked one of my camera's by scratching the lens by using it at the beach. I now don't lend camera's to anyone!

Ja op sommige lag ook nog sneeuw. Dat contrast verschil vind ik ook wel mooi eigenlijk.
Later op de dag heb ik ook foto's gemaakt van een adelaar boven het water, maar daar zit door het licht een blauwzweem over. Heel jammer!
