Very beautifully done, you have a gorgeous style. Might I inquire as to what inspired this piece? (If it's too personal, I completely understand; I'm just curious because it feels full of emotion.)

Aww, thank you very much! For the watch, and for your kind comments. It's always an honour to be told you captured any emotion.

And I wouldn't mind sharing what specifically made me come up with this... if I remembered. I know there were a lot of things that went into the idea behind it... a quote from C.S. Lewis here, a verse from I Corinthians there, probably a Jon Foreman song somewhere in there, compounded with being stressed out over finals last semester... but I didn't get around to drawing this thing until a little while ago, so I don't really remember what they were, exactly... (Is that bad?) But, the basic idea behind it is the struggle we all face between our base, sinful natures pulling us down, and having to reach out to God, Who's reaching down to us, as our only Hope. So, yeah. Sorry to ramble.
