i just love the effect the medium has on the piece... no other medium could achieve that effect.. it's a lovely piece of work.
i love how the colours flow and blend and merge.. especially her skin. but i think that red is too overpowering of a colour so along her forehead and close to her ear needs to be blended in with more browns and it would be perfect.
do you break the pastels to make a sharp edge to do hair? it's very realistic... the fine little baby hairs in front.. your attention to detail is like..
i love the how real the piece feels. definitely one of your best pieces.. to me anyway

Pic looks fabulous.....I love the angle and Regine surely is beautiful.
You have enough talent to get on without a college degree, or whatever qualification you were going for. I am sorry to hear it wasn't your choice but sometimes we bring on what we need to happen, despite, or even because, of the original plan.
The first job I had that meant anything to me, I got kicked out. It was a placement, and my supervisor who had placed me there, told me that anyone worth their salt gets kicked out/sacked/expelled at least once. I hope you're cool about things.
