Interviewer: “now, what is that you’re drinking?”

Emilia: “this is a red, from Napa valley I think, I don’t know much more…”

I: “ok, I was more referring to the small person in the glass.”

E: “oh, we’ll, she’s Italian, and she’s my little decanter. She stomps around in the wine, and it aerates the drink. It really brings out extra flavors, and there’s really no substitution for a tiny straight from wine country.”

I: “I see, do you pay her, or rather how does this whole dynamic work?”

E: “I can see this being confusing from your position. No I don’t pay her, she’s mine, just like how you wouldn’t pay a dog. She lives mostly off wine, and some bread, and I keep her in a hampster cage in my wine cellar. She loves it though, don’t you sweetie.”

Emilia swirls the wine glass, running wine up the walls, and knocking the tiny woman off her balance. She stumbles and falls into the wine, soaking her and completely dying her white sundress red.

E: “oh dear, sorry about that”

Emilia reaches down into the glass and picks up the wine-soaked woman with two fingers. Like she’d done hundreds of times before, she swiftly slips the tiny into her mouth, so quick, the interviewer barely had time to realize what was happening.

I: “woah! What are you doing?”

E: (muffled) “one sec.”

Emilia pulls the tiny girl out by her hands through her tight lips, showing her having little to no more red color. Emilia had sucked all of the wine out of her clothes and hair, and she quickly places the tiny back into her wine glass. As soon as she landed, she got right back to stomping and splashing in the wine.

E: “good girl… now where were we?”

I: “I.. Uhh… well, what movie are you uhh… working on now?”

The interviewer was stunned by the tiny woman, and even more by Emilia’s treatment of her. Just have to be glad not to be small…
