Drawing ponies while listening to Bruce Springsteen, most favorite way to kill time ever!Here's another Lyra and Bon Bon pic!
It's kinda ironic, while I was working on this, I didn't expect the name Lyra to be on one of the blind bag ponies :3 (So I guess her name Lyra is canon now!)
Well anyways, I wanted to make a heartwarming pic with these two, I think they're a lovely couple ^_^

Bon Bon: You know... I had my doubts before, but we really should thank Mario for helping make this happen. I don't know if you and I would be... together... if he hadn't helped us out so much. I got my proof that not all studs are jerks, and you got to be friends with a human. Ha ha⦠everypony wins.
Lyra: That's true. But he's not the only hero out there, working their tails off to make Equestria even more beautiful. Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity... and all the rest. They'll sure have their work cut out for them, getting the Element of Magic back and defeating the Blackhorns.
Bon Bon: Yeah... *gets a sad frown* ...Do you think they'll be okay?
Lyra: Of course I do. If anypony can undo all this mayhem, they can. I promise they'll all come back safe and sound.
Bon Bon: Well... Alighast sure won't. *sly cackle*
Lyra: Yeah. That lying sack of shadowy horsebutts is going down! All those bat ponies living in Ghostli Grove will be free soon, thanks to Mario, Twilight, and all their friends.
Bon Bon: I wish I had some grape soda. Then, I'd raise a toast to our heroes...
Lyra: *nuzzles Bon Bon* We'll just keep wishing for their safety... and their safe return. If they could bring us together, there's no reason they can't end the Blackhorns' plans to conquer Equestria.
*The two go back to cuddling peacefully.*

These two characters are background ponies who were often placed next to each other because the layout designer thought they went with each other. Fans saw them together a lot and assumed they were friends or more. Simple as that.
