Description
When I was an art student, I worked on a series called "Children and their Best Friends". It was in the style of mid-19th century British contemporary painting.
They were the children of friends and relatives - the dogs were cooperative, from a local animal shelter. At the end of my work, each dog stayed "forever" with "his" child and found his own new family in theirs. This surprised me and made me very, very happy.
For each picture I needed about 10-12 model appointments with children and dog. The originals are owned by the children.
