Wanda! Wanda, Wanda, Wanda. Let's dive into her for a second.
Let's answer some obvious questions:
Her name is Wanda! They go by she/they. Wanda is in a relationship with Carter.
Her only known family is her parents who have passed, and Winston.
Wanda owns a pet strider named Turnip!
They are also Endnostic; a religion I will touch on later.
Wanda wears a face mask ever since The Incident(TM) where she splashed water on her face. :'D Oh dear.
No one knows about this, because water is unknown to those who reside in the nether. Wanda however, knows of the Overworld and (she believes) she knows the truth to everything.
Wanda is currently aware of The Portal(TM) which is hidden underground and inside a large cross-bred tree that grows inside a mountain. (I will eventually have references for this land later.)
Wanda doesn't trust ANYONE except Carter (Even then her trust in him is beginning to waver.) She uses Carter as an inside man in the Crim Kingdom.
Wanda secretly experiments on plants in their attic, and also owns lots of flowers and grasses that thrive in the Overworld. However, she has been unable to utilize these plants in her realm as they are unable to survive in the Nether.
Wanda believes that "the truth" is this: Peter is hiding the Overworld from the other Nether citizens because he wants to have complete reign and control over everyone and all the lands. Without proof, Wanda cannot bring this to the Netherwastes Committee (why would she want to anyway, she thinks they're working for Peter), so she is on her own (with Carter.)
So... what is the truth? Why is there a portal hiding under a giant tree in a giant cave under a mountain? Why are the nether citizens unaware of the Overworld? What is The Incident? All of these questions have answers, I just wanna create art that corresponds with each answer.
