Quite a delight to see the intimate moments of royalty. In truth, i can actually imagine this to be the backstage eccentricity of Her Royal Majesty of some powerful court. The way she spends her private times after the crowd is closed out by locked and barred castle shutters and the Queen retreats to her inner sanctum where she proceeds to kick back in her very individual way and make policy. I wonder if her subjects ever whisper among themselves, "Where does she come up with these edicts!?"
