Sans was worried, and that's saying something. It's been way too long - still no kid. Then, when he asked Flowey (yes, asked Prince Death-God Dandelion himself), he told him that last he checked, they were still in the flowerbed. Alive...last he checked. When he took another shortcut over to that bed of golden flowers, there lay Frisk looking very "down".

"hey," he offered. "sup? uh, 'flower' you?"

Nothing. No smile. Not anything. They hardly moved, barely breathed. Finally, they told him some advice "someone" told them, advice they decided to heed:

"just give up. i did."

...Nothing. For once, he had nothing to say. Not anything.

Mostly sorting out some very jaded feelings here...

I guess one could think of a plot where a player would have Frisk go through all these runs until eventually giving up at the beginning of the game, maybe trying to accomplish something. I have a feeling that Sans, in spite of what he said as a lost soul, wouldn't be too happy about that.
