This is some fan art for 's comic Deathlings, [link]He is also an awesome photographer to boot. Check out his gallery.
It is a darker comic so I wanted to go for a dark style to match. Also wanted to play with just two colors, see if I could get it to pop. Messed around with some different textures and brushes.

I really like the figure designs too - you've got a nice range of art skills man. I've now looked at several different images of yours and they all stand alone - differing from project to project. Nice job.

Just depends what you're going for. An adaptive style means you can handle many different types of projects - which may mean more work.
