Illustration for a childrens book I am working on named Ikuzonoha. This is a very touching yet a tad sad Japanese fairytale. I already wanted to illustrate this fairytale during my masteryear, but I could not find the time to do so.

I tried to emulate the modern Japanese woodblock prints named shin hanga...but I think I'll change the style though, this is a bit too static for my taste.
