I have died from epicness.

But what I think is really funny is the idea of a Werewolf Inuyasha. Esp. since he hates wolves so being a werewolf would be a funny but cute thing XD

OMGUSH NO DON'T DIE! IT'S NOT THAT EPIC ;///;

Β ....Oh were you thinking werewolf? 'Cause I was thinking more vampire...

...

Clearly I didn't make that clear enoughΒ  Β

Yes it is. Anything with Inuyasha in it is epic in my mind.

Question: What does AU mean?

And is that Kagome?

Yeah you did make it clear; I figured from the way he was aiming for the girls neck that it'd be a vampire. So you don't have to be shocked anymore Plus, I read the above comment before I posted this one about him being a vampire, and I meant that although vampire Inuyasha sounds cool, I still prefer the idea of him being a werewolf. Maybe it's just the side of me that adores fuzzy things that thinks that.

Although ... if he starts sparkling in the sunlight then we will have issues.

Wandering-chan In reply to oOSummer-DreamOo [2013-08-31 15:58:24 +0000 UTC]

AU is the short-term for "Alternate Universe". It's basically exactly what it sounds like. Most fandoms use it to describe the setting of the stories they make up; stories aside from the original plot.Β

For example: Highschool AU (stories where Inuyasha and the others could be going to a modern day highschool together), ModernDay AU (Inuyasha and the others are just everyday people in present time rather than back in the Feudal Era).

Yup! That's Kagome...kinda hard to tell I suppose, but I tried with the hair ;A;Β

Oh gosh no. The day Vampire!Inuyasha sparkles in the sun is the day my world ends - _ -Β

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! (Derp face)Β Wow I feel so stupid. Oh well (Shrugs) okay now that makes sense!

At first I wasn't sure since in the comics Kagome appears to have blue eyes via cover but in the shows Kagomes eyes are brown.

So I can take it then that you also don't like 'Twilight'? (I only watched it because wolves are my 2nd fave animal and I like Taylor Lautner as an actor)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Wandering-chan In reply to oOSummer-DreamOo [2013-09-01 14:00:18 +0000 UTC]

Aha well I'm glad I cleared things up!

Yeah, at first (in my younger days XP) I thought Kagome's eyes were brown because I hadn't yet read the manga. But as the years passed and I was no longer a noob, I realized that there was an original manga! To my surprise, she had blue eyes! Technically, according to Rumiko Takahashi, her eyes are blue...but the animators changed it....-_-;; So now, I prefer drawing Kagome with the intended eye colour.

Well, it's not that I don't like "Twilight" it's that I don't like the movie adaptation of it. I really like the books and the overall story...but the acting (other than Taylor Lautner, honestly) was a total let down...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

oOSummer-DreamOo In reply to Wandering-chan [2013-09-01 23:54:34 +0000 UTC]

Yup. c:

Okay well that makes sense, I noticed on the manga I borrowed from the library that she had blue eyes but all the characters seemed to have blue eyes, and Inuyasha had a weird gray yellow eye color ... it was weird. That is actually how I got into the manga. My dad wanted to protect me from anime and manga since most of it was inappropriate. I happened to walk past the shelf where the comics were and the word "Inuyasha" caught my eye. So I picked up the first one and browsed through it. At first I thought he had cat eyes until somewhere it mentioned they were dog ears and I was like ... what? I borrowed as many as I could fit in my backpack and read them all in the span of 5 days. They had about 35 of them, but it was almost every other one, so I read 1-5, 8-10, etc type thing. Then a friend of mine from school noticed I was reading them in the hallway and he told me there was an anime, so I looked it up and began watching it. (What started out as one thing changed to the explanation of how I got into Inuyasha XD) and then my dad was nice so he downloaded all the english episodes and the 4 movies (Minus the final act) he was going to get the japanese version, but they didn't have a free download of them.

What about you? What is your story for how you got into Inuyasha?

(Oh and if you haven't noticed I am very talkative)

I read the books as well; save for the first one. It just drives me crazy, vampires need to burn in the sun and technically Edward and Jacob are both pedophiles. XPPP (My fave quote: Disney made, in the movie "Up" a better love story in 6 minutes than "Twilight" did in 5 minutes". In the books Jacob is a jerk which ticked me off, and so I only read it because I liked Alice.

(XP Everytime I type manga I have to go back and change it because I keep on spelling 'mango')

Wandering-chan In reply to oOSummer-DreamOo [2013-09-02 22:02:49 +0000 UTC]

Aha, talkative's good! Polar opposite to me...unless I'm hyper. >w>

Inuyasha was introduced to me by my best friend in grade 3 (around the time the anime first aired) and at the time, I had no idea what anime or manga even was. But I was intrigued by the story of Inuyasha when she told it to me so when she told me that it was a "tv show" I began to watch it on tv every night it aired. I was absolutely entranced by it.Β

As I continued watching it (along with Bleach, Naruto, and others that were being aired at the time as well), I began to learn more about the anime/manga community; that the "tv shows" were called anime; that they was originally voiced in Japanese; and finally, that they originated from a book (which I later learned were called "manga"). With the help of my best friend at the time, I was slowly gaining knowledge of a regular otaku! *cue dramatic music*

Anyway, when the last season of Inuyasha aired on tv, I was shocked that it was ending, considering that the Jewel hadn't yet been completed and I was informed that no more episodes were to be aired after that night. My parents told me that that was actually the end of the story, but I couldn't believe it. I mean, the Jewel had to be completed before finishing!

That's when I started hunting down the manga series in local libraries and book stores. Meanwhile, I bought the movies to satisfy my Inuyasha-withdrawal as well.

After reading the manga and watching the movies, I discovered a few years later that the ending was out! I hunted down the Final Act on YouTube and watched it all in a matter of days. Since it was subbed at the time, I watched the newly dubbed version a few days ago with my mom -w- So now, I'm complete.Β

When did you start reading the series? Was it recent?

Oh yes, I agree with that quote all the way. Hm, I supposed you're right in saying that Jacob was a bit more...aggressive in the book, but I'm still really neutral with him in either the books or films.Β

oOSummer-DreamOo In reply to Wandering-chan [2013-09-02 22:28:29 +0000 UTC]

Wow you have a longer story than me! It was actually about a few days shy of a year ago. And when I found the series on hulu I watched the first ten in japanese, then my dad dowloaded the english, then after all those I went back and watched the final act in japanese.Β I would personally buy all the manga, but I don't have any money to really splurge on stuff like that. Unless I can find a site where I can read all the manga online for free. So even though I've watched all the shows, and read a majority of the manga, technically in fan rankings I'd be considered a baby since I have only been a fan for a short time.Β I loved the movies. It made me sad though that at the end of the 4th movie there wasn't a sit boy, like there had been in the other 3 movies. Oh well.

So about how many years does that make you an Inuyasha fan? Hooray! So are you happy with how the show ended? (Personally I wish they would have showed Inuyasha and Kagomes wedding. And I wish Koga could have actually been there for the final battle. It made me sad seeing he wasn't there.)

It's been a few years since I have read the books, I'll have to go back and read them again. Maybe if the story was tweaked a bit; it'd be more fun to read, and out of all the books/movies the only one I liked was that one (Forgot it's name) where there seems to be a LOT of JacobXBella moments.

And for me I'd have to say the movie "Red Riding Hood" was a more awesome/epic movie than Twilight but that is just my opionion.

Hm...I suppose...that'll be about 9 years?Β

The ending gives me just so many happy feels I have no complaints. But yeah, I do agree with the Kagome and Inuyasha wedding thing, although I suppose that'll be more to please the fandom rather than continuing with the main story...ugh I want more InuKag ;A;

Well I'll try to find the site it was on. According to it, it will take place near hollywood, Kagome is an orphan and Miroku will be played by a black guy and Inuyasha will be a rockstar that is secretly a half demon. It sounds like it has potential to be okay, but I hope it doesn't turn out like how the Avatar the Last Airbender movie came out to be.Β firefox.org/news/articles/2661… Here is the link. I am not sure if this is true or not though. It might not be it might be. Oh well. No wait. I'm wrong. Apparently it was a cruel April Fools Day joke T.T

Well I love the obvious, InuyashaXKagome, and MirokuXSango, but I also like:Β

SesshomaruXKagome,Β

SesshomaruX (That one girl who played the flute and was a human turned haf demon but died)

KogaXKagome

KogaXAyame

KikyoXNaraku LoL I don't know why though. Just because.

ShippoXShiori (Shiori, the half bat demon girl that was so pretty!)

ShippoX (His first love, the one with the stone flower in it but I don't remember her name.

InuyashaXKikyo ... WHEN SHE WAS ALIVE BEFORE SHE DIED!!

oOSummer-DreamOo In reply to Wandering-chan [2013-11-22 06:51:31 +0000 UTC]

Yup, I actually just started typing it, oh and when I say "Alien" I don't mean he'll be all green and stuff. I once had a dream, before I even knew Inuyasha existed, about a boy that was either a dog or a wolf spirit ish thingy that actually lived on Jupiter, underneath what seems to be a thick layer of gas and stuff is a thriving community of animal people and one of these people, his father, went to earth to find a bride, they got married and had a child, but the guy was practically immortal, so when his wife died he went back home only to find that something was slowly destroying his home. He and a small band of people build up a barrier, but as time passes, more and more people start dying, so he sends his now 20(ish) year old son to earth in a stasis capsule. As the capsule crashes into earth, the boy gets amnesia and is in a comatose like state when he is freed by a girl named Kimber. Anyways, the boy is kinda like Inuyasha and the girl is kinda like Kagome, but thats as far as I can tell you.

Well once you watch the whole movie/play you'll have to let me know what you think of it. OMG NARAKU IS PLAYED BY A WOMAN! THAT WAS JUST TOO FUNNY!!

Ahh okay XDΒ

Yup. XDD Like legitly published and on the market type published. My cousin and I are going to arrange a date when she and I can add in the last 5ish pages of book two and then we are going to send it off to be published with a test print, look it over and if everything seems nice we are going to sell it! I actually have a business only DA account where I post info on the book. It used to be my first da account, but anyways, its on the front page you'll be able to see the cover for book two!! (Spoiler: Book Two is quite a bit longer and better than Book 1)

But yeah, God has given me way to much talent XP ... AND WAY TO MANY STORY IDEAS!! (These are just the titles of a few of them)

1) Broken Wings and Tattered Lace - Romance / Action

2) One Night in the Asylum - Horror / Suspense

3) The Werewolf on Spokane Street - Action / Adventure / Romance / Suspense / Horror

4) Jupiter - Action / Romance (Jupiter is the official name of the book that was based off of my dream)
