So it came to my attention the other day that I never got around to getting photos of my new Appa plushie which is really a bit sad. I had planned on finishing it up January 2011 to mark four years of plushie making, since the original Appa plushie I made was my first and I've improved so much since then, but school and cons pushed it back to the summer. And now it seems like I'm coming out of a year long photography slump (which I didn't even know I was in?) so the plushie is over half a year old yet these are the first photos of it, oh well.
Loosely based on a design I saw here on dA years ago of a chibi Appa, hence the animesque eyes (which I'm not totally satisfied with) and the chubby proportions, he's about 18 inches from end to end and made entirely out of fleece like all the other plushies I make.
